About Me
My name is Jacob Archibald and I am a high school student. I have always been fascinated by magic and during the COVID pandemic found myself with a lot of spare time during which I taught myself many magic tricks. My love of magic led me to produce a Zoom magic show for friends and family as well as a magic show for my brother’s entire grade. I also give weekly magic lessons to kids. Recently, I decided to combine my love of magic and teaching by starting a nonprofit organization to engage children in a social and philanthropic magic program. This year I also partnered with the American Cancer Society to do workshops at their Hope Lodges.
My Goals
- To provide a fun and meaningful experience
- Role modeling/mentoring
- Engaging programming after several years of COVID-related isolation/loss of learning
- Create friendships and connections for participating kids and adults
- Inspire kids to visualize how they can be leaders in and contribute to their community
- Empower participants to share the joy of magic with others
